We in Toronto said the same thing about this lame excuse for a goalie when Toronto acquired him; he's young, a former Calder winner, and he's relatively cheap. Well, the problem is, he can't stop pucks. I guess when you have Luongo, you're not too concerned with who the backup is, but I'm surprised Gillis didn't learn from last year, when Luongo went down with injury. It's one thing for Raycrap to play one game in relief of Bobby Lu every now and then, but even if, just once, he has to make two starts in a row, or three starts in a row, this will have been a bad decision. $500 grand too much.
